Membership is open to boys and girls aged 10 to 21 Annual Membership of the Academy is £2 per year payable within 1 month of joining The Academy and there after by January 31st each year. A weekly subscription fee of £1 is payable on the night every week.

Steep Cricket Club has been in existence for over 100 years. In recent times Steep has run two sides in the Hampshire Cricket League on Saturdays as well as a 'friendly' side who play on Sundays and a few summer weekday evenings. These 'friendly' games are usually against other local villages, but with the odd game further afield across the border in Sussex perhaps or further north in Hampshire. We also host one or two 'strolling' sides each summer, who return year after year. We have recently restarted Junior coaching sessions and enter Under-11 and Under-13 teams in the local leagues.

Butser Hill National Nature Reserve and the highest point on the south downs. 1,400 acres of open access woodland and downland within the East Hampshire Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with an array of activities for the whole family.

The Taro Leisure Centre is situated in Penns Place, Petersfield. Activities Include Swimming, Gym, Playzone and Many more.
