We are very privileged and pleased to have a new camera view of a Blue tit that sleeps in a bird box in Petersfield.
It is a wild bird that arrives in the box around 4pm onwards everynight.
During the day unfortunately the box will be empty most of the day.
In the spring the bird moves to another box to build a nest. We are hoping that the bird will do the same next year and we will catch some great footage of the eggs and chicks.
For those who haven't managed to see the Blue tit yet, please follow the link below to some screenshots or come back and view after 4pm.
Camera View Available on All Cams and Chat Page

Petersfield is to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee with events in and around the Town.In the morning there will be 60 cars and 60 motor bikes, all British, covering the Queen’s lifetime. They will be on show in The Square and High Street.
At noon there will be a formal ceremony in The Square and a capsule will be buried for 100 years beneath a specially created mosaic.
After the formalities bands will entertain and there will be time to find lunch in the town centre.
At around 2pm a procession of vehicles, followed by residents in 1950s costume, will set off for The Heath, where a traditional fete will be in full swing with lots of stalls, tug-of-war competition and a raft race.
On The Heath in the evening there will be dancing to a large band with a programme of 40s and 50s music. Including a bar and a hog roast.
If you don't know already QECP Mountain Bike Trail Building is doing its best to improve the mountain bike riding at QE Park but we always need more help.
So far we have managed to add various new sections to improve the area for both riders and walkers (keeping each other on there own trails).
...
Every 4 weeks we have a dig weekend, with one this weekend 28/29. And as an incentive we offer free parking over the weekend and once you have helped with 60+ hours of trail building you are entitled to a year free pass.
25th and 26th February - main car park 10.30am
We meet at the centre 10:30 and tea and coffee is available during the day. You've no need to bring tools as we do have available a few but rakes and mattocks are very handy. Please feel free to come along and help out. I would recommend decent footwear as the area is very chalky once dug down even just a few inches.
Please note we are working on official approved trails only and cannot condone ANY riding or building outside of the official lines.
Have an enjoyable evening with friends and support young families in the Petersfield Area.
Home Start Butser Quiz Night is to be held in Churchers college dining hall on Friday 9th March to raise money for the local charity, Home-Start Butser.
