QEC Park

A mile or so South of Petersfield on the A3 lies Hampshire’s largest country park (1,400 acres), now the centre of the South Downs National Park. Queen Elizabeth Country Park offers something for everyone; ride horses or mountain bikes, hire barbecues, try the assault course, join a reptile discovery walk, go bat-spotting or simply enjoy a coffee at the visitors’ centre. Butser hill is the highest point on the South Downs – so there’s plenty of walking to be had, too.Barbeque Hire There are 11 family bbq's in the woods which can be hired for set periods 11am-1pm, 1pm-3pm, 3pm-5pm and 5pm-7pm at £5 per session. Each bbq caters for up to 12 people and has a picnic table.
